In order to spark inquiry and help the El-K team keep up with ongoing purposeful documentation, have your students prepare a conference and FaceTime their peers or neighbouring classes to share their expertise. Always be sure to share this idea with your administration. By giving students the responsibility to continue sharing their questions and wonders, students will begin to incorporate their own version of documentation in their own play. Partner with another class in your school, and have students share their inquiries and look for connections. Today our class had a FaceTime with me, the discussion took place in different spaces and allowed all co learners to collect their thoughts and prepare for parent student led conferences. As always, Sparkle! Let your students thrive at what they do best, play. Put traditional structures aside and just let them play! Trust the process. It is the most authentic way to transform your classroom into true emergent curriculum. The opportunities are endless and the sky is not even the limit!
